history

My coaching career started with Piranha Chur. In the beginning, as a former active goalkeeper, I was responsible for the goalkeepers of all junior teams at Piranha Chur. During my third season in this role, the women’s NLA Coach Magnus Holm brought me into the first team’s staff. From this time on I was responsible for the goalkeeper coaching of the NLA team, until I was later allowed to take over more and more tasks in the assistance area under the head coach Mark van Rooden.
I am very proud to have been part of the coaching staff that led Piranha Chur to the first Swiss Champion title.
In the following season we won the silver medal at the Champions Cup in Valmiera (Latvia).

After my time with Piranha Chur I moved to UHC Dietlikon for 3 years. At UHC Dietlikon I had a double function. On the one hand I was the head coach of the women’s U21 team for 3 years, on the other hand I was the assistant coach of Beni Cernela for 2 years.
During my time as head coach at Dietlikon we won one gold, one silver and one bronze medal. But more more important was the fact that during my time as U21 head coach we were able to develop 14 players in such a way that they successfully made the step into the highest Swiss league – the NLA.
Some of them play a major role in their clubs and in the Swiss national team.

After a short break, I signed with the NLB club Red Lions Frauenfeld. The goal was to bring more structures into the team and to integrate young talents into the first team. Of course the big goal for Frauenfeld was to be promoted to the NLA. This was not least because Frauenfeld had failed with this venture in previous years.
Unfortunately at that time, as it would later turn out, I had insurmountable differences with the sporting management. Therefore, the cooperation was already cancelled in the first season.
At the time the contract was terminated, I was clearly on the top of the table with Frauenfeld and left a functioning team to my assistants at that time. They have continued my work and with this team and my playing system they have successfully promoted to the NLA.

Since 2019 I have been the head coach of the women’s NLA team of Zug United. My current job is to improve the team and the individual players. Another goal is to bring Zug United back into the Top 4 of Swiss women’s floorball. Besides the individual training of the players, it is also important to create clear structures, develop a playing culture, strengthen the winning mentality and integrate young talents into the first team.
